We were driving down the road the other day when this vehicle caught my attention:
Is it just me, or is that a bit ironic/moronic that somebody who drives a mini-van has a license plate preaching abstinence?

It's not just you. I especially would have to go with the latter (moronic) option.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you caught that!
Hmmmmm...maybe they just drive all their dogs around?
ReplyDeleteMoronic. Definitely.
ReplyDeleteFunny in a sad way...but still moronic *G*
Could be a former alcoholic that needs constant reminding? Or sexaholic . . .
ReplyDeleteperhaps it is to remind their many many girl children not to kiss little boys at chuck e. cheese?
ReplyDeleteum, maybe it's regret...
ReplyDeleteWhat they need now is one of those license plate frames that says:
ReplyDelete"Do as I say, NOT as I do"
Since I am one, I'm going to say its Mormonic.
ReplyDeletecould be talking about chocolate.
ReplyDeleteOr just met as many morons I have have this week and feel like PAYING them to not procreate.
Not ironic at all...someone that PREACHY and full of themselves, obviously needs lots of space for their ego.
ReplyDeleteHallie
HA! That's funny. I wonder how many kids they have!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or is that a bit ironic/moronic that somebody who drives a mini-van has a license plate preaching abstinence?...
ReplyDeleteMaybe thats WHY they have that license plate-- 'don't make the same mistakes I did or you'll end up like this!!'
Maybe it's a cautionary tale. "If you don't practice abstinence you will end up driving one of these."
ReplyDeleteYou should send that to Leno :-)
Peace - D
I'm going with wise, tired and "sick of these kids tearing up my house and making noise and whining and crying and oh my GOD, why won't they strop fighting!"
ReplyDeletebut maybe I'm projecting a little...
Maybe it's a Mormon church van?? ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Good point. It always annoys me when people use their cars to preach or give their political or religious views. With all the road rage that occurs today, why would you give someone a reason to want to smash into you?
ReplyDeleteha ha ha
ReplyDeletemaybe with a van full of kids- they were wishing they would have abstained! :)
Um.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I've got.
They must be the parents of ugly babies and are trying to keep others from the same mistake they made . . .
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping they're begging others not to follow their stupidity.
ReplyDeleteBwhahaha! Ok, that't just punny! What would be even funnier is if there were 12 children in the backseat!
ReplyDeleteNo, wait. They probably got custom plates just as their oldest daughter started driving.
ReplyDeleteNothing like driving around the Abstinence-mobile (complete with car seats inside) to turn off the boyfriend.
Bwhahahaha at Tranny's comment.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty moronic. I love that you found ti and took its pic for me to smile!
Hee hee! Too funny.
ReplyDeleteDid you get a look at the driver?
Oh my...... hysterical. I have to see if that is taken in OH.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that they have teens and they don't want them to end up like their folks did...
ReplyDeleteha! Maybe it's, hind sight is always 20/20, ya know. They have a mess of kids but secretly wished they used a condom? At least every once in a while?
ReplyDeleteLOL, that's very funny
ReplyDeleteWonder if they're in the running for the Darwin Awards...
ReplyDeleteI am going to go out on a limb and say 'Genius!' I don't think there is a teenage boy or girl in the world that would ask to borrow the ol' mini-van with that as its license plate. Those parents are saving themselves a lot of battles.
ReplyDeleteHehehe! That is too funny.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they wish they'd thought of it earlier. hehe.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for preaching it, but from your license plate? On a mini-van? I hate them. Is that what the point is? If you put out you have to drive one?
ReplyDeleteIf the 15 year-old me had seen that minivan, I might have actually kept my legs together. I'm just saying.
ReplyDeleteBecause even now, the thoughts of a minivan makes me think a big "o" totally wouldn't be worth it.
I'm confused, btw. When did the Burgh decide to join the bible belt exactly?
Please tell me you got a look at who and how many were in the car!?
ReplyDeleteToo funny.
Maybe they are just sick of all those people getin' busy at traffic lights lol ;)
ReplyDeletehaha! all aboard!!!!!
ReplyDeleteironic
ReplyDeleteI love license plates. I ALWAYS look. always.
oh, and would you believe me that my dad's company car when I was in high school said "DOITCTR"
(stood for HWI's Do It yourself hardware stores--aka Do It Centers.)
NO lIE!
I totally drove my mom's car to school.
Maybe after having enough kids to fill a mini-van they have figured out what they did to get them. LOL
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
ReplyDeleteHindsight is 20/20?
Hee, is that all my mom needed to do to get me to listen? Get it printed on her license plate?
ReplyDeleteMORONIC in the extreme!!
ReplyDeletevery very odd that plate is on a Catholic Assult Vehicle.
ReplyDeleteMaybe regret. Or maybe for the kids. I lean toward moronic!
ReplyDeleteLMFAO. Hahahahaaaa!!
ReplyDeleteThat is great! Just plain great! I wish you had pictures of the boat load of kids in there!
ReplyDeleteHow embrassing for the teens of those parents! And how much fun would we have when it gets dirty writing words in the dust?
I love it!
I'm going with Regret as the their reasoing!
I have to go with moronic as well. Great that you had your camera to get this shot.
ReplyDelete"....or this is what happens"
ReplyDeletehaha.
ReplyDeleteThat is a little bit retarded. Seriously.
They probably have a slew of younguns & don't want to end up with gran dbabies before their time! like "Darling, you WILL be abstinent!"
ReplyDeleteMaybe "ABSTNCE" really just means ... Ab Stance and they're some workout person or something? Or maybe it means, Abs Teency and their abs are all hawt and teensy. Or maybe it means, A Bee St. Nice. Uh-huh. It totally could.
ReplyDeleteOr, yeah, moronic.
