Introducing Cody (or at least that's his name today), a 13-week old Havanese.
Heaven help me.
Is this what was meant the other day when you said on FB that you were stupid and never learned?
ReplyDeleteHi Cody. Where's your Disney name?
Cody is a Disney name. Name that flick and win absolutely nothing!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me this isn't the birthday gift you were talking about...
ReplyDelete...and FYI - I will have an industrial sized "SUCKER" stamp specially giftwrapped for you for Christmas.
Brother Bear? Or whatever that movie was named?
ReplyDeleteyou. are a sucker!! but who am i to talk? i bring in every stray kitten in the country!! and outlying areas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely lovely thing to do for you and your family! Congratulations on your new addition!
ReplyDelete@Rebelliousflaw No, ma'am, but Mr. Husband did forfeit his Christmas gift to get the little furball.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww, congrats on the cute furriness.
ReplyDeleteMr. H couldn't hold out for his terrier?
That is so cute it effing made me throw up a little in my mouth.
ReplyDeleteI have total dog envy.
@Karen--There was no way he was getting the Soft Coated Wheaten. I nixed that. His only choices were a Lhasa Apso, Havanese, or Tibeten Terrier.
ReplyDeleteI grew up with wheaties - they are often lovingly called terrorists! hahahahahhaha.
ReplyDeleteCody is adorable. Is it from the Suite Life of Zack & Cody?
What did mr husband give up to get him?
OH MAH GOODNESS, that dog is KA-UTE!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are done for. Seriously.
@sarah--Mr. Husband was supposed to get a new bike. It was his choice to forfeit it, though.
ReplyDeleteNot Suite Life of Zack & Cody or Brother Bear.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteI've only met one Havanese, but she was a dear sweet little pup. Enjoy!
Pretty darn cute. I look forward to puppy stories.
ReplyDeleteThe little boy in the Rescuers?
ReplyDeleteoh my, very cute. Sucker ;)
ReplyDelete@Sarah--Ding, ding, ding!
ReplyDeleteAh!!! Holy cuteness batman!
ReplyDeleteSooooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteAww congrats on the puppy. He's so cute. It lifted my spirits a little, since my eldest guinea pig, Lightning passed away this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteOh my. Very cute. Love his little paws in the first pic!
ReplyDeleteA.) Sucka!! :-)
ReplyDeleteB.) Awwwww! You just want to scoop him up and snuggle with all that fur!
C.) Can I borrow those six little pleading eyes? The four we have here aren't working so well; perhaps ten will win the husband over.
Sucker.
ReplyDeleteAww that' so sweet!
ReplyDeleteCody is so freakin cute!Six little eyes would be hard to say no to.Especially if one of those pairs of eyes belonged to Cody.
ReplyDeleteCUTE!
ReplyDeletesucker yeah, lol
But CUTE!
I wouldnt have been able to leave without him either.
I dont take my neices into pet stores for a very good reason. I cant say no to them on a regular basis, Id bring home a whole zoo to my brother if I was left unchecked.
You ARE a sucker, but that little ball of fur IS cute. Even I could be duped into keeping that one...
ReplyDeleteWill you get another and name it Zach? You probably haven't gotten into that show yet, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, but you will.......
ReplyDeleteVery cute puppy!!!!
Don't worry, most moms have 'sucker' written on their forehead.
I love that last pic!
ReplyDeleteOh man. He is the cutest. I see years of fun in your future and maybe some pee on your rug.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I have been researching this breed as a potential "next dog" post-bulldogs. I'll be very interested to see how well Cody integrates into your pack, how well housebreaking goes, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you! What does Meg think?
Peace - D
My friend works with a Havanese rescue group (apparently they're big victims of the puppy mills). They are SWEET dogs. But do have a tendency to be hard to housetrain. Goodluck.
ReplyDeleteCute! But I was pretty sure I saw that coming! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour're just a big smooshy marshmallow....
ReplyDeleteI love that about you!
Hallie
OMG!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Havanese!
I actually love that whole group of little lapdogs (cotons, havanese, bichons, maltese, & bolognese). But so long as the Rabid Dingo (aka the Hound) lives, it will never be a good idea.
You are a smooshy marshmallow....
oh and SCWT???
ReplyDeleteI only *WISH* my Hubby liked those. But no, he's a rabid dingo man. An SCWT is just a puppier version of Kerrygirl so up my alley.
Oh my goodness. He is the cutest thing. Look at those cute fluffy legs and that scruffy face. I love him.
ReplyDeleteBurgh, he's adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou're starting to make me want a dog, I had better get over that pretty darn quickly...
I had to use this http://www.babynamebox.com/disney-character-names.html to figure out where the name came from - lol!!
Such a cutie! Looks like the bully may get do more than sit on the couch now!! Alexis is going to have a ball with this little spitfire! I can't wait to read the coming stories. My youngest pup is almost over the terrible stages!!!!
ReplyDelete@A Visual Tinkle--Little Dude seems like he might just be easy to housebreak. I'm sort of shocked.
ReplyDeleteHe's so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you really don't want him I'll drive out your way and pick him up; ;) Just don't tell my husband *lol* Very very cute!!
Oh he's beyond cute!! Now I want one. But as long as I can't smell him (ohhh - puppy smell!) the feeling will pass.
ReplyDeleteOh, hon' you didn't have a chance. I can tell. And he's adorable!`
ReplyDeleteSucker!
ReplyDelete:P
Okay that last picture is about the cutest thing EVER! And the dog pretty dang cute too...
ReplyDeleteCody is ADORABLE!!
ReplyDeleteHe is so freaking cute!! How could anyone not be sucker for that cuteness and for the other cuteness in your house!
ReplyDeleteSuckah!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy aunt and uncle have two havanese and they are the most precious things!! LOVE HIM!!!
Congratulations on your new family member, M. He's darling.
I'm so jealous. He is too cute.
ReplyDeleteAaaawww...I sooooo wanted a Havanese before we got Pascal! They are soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is soooooo cute!!!!!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteNo way on the Tibetan Terrier! I had one named Coco growing up and those little hellions attach themselves to one person and that.is.it! Lucky for me, I was that one person, so every morning my Dad would try and wake me up for school and Coco would leap off my bed in a flying ball of fur and teeth and chase him down the stairs until he could bite him in the ass! he would then turn and run right back to curl up at the foot of my bed.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I miss Coco... :(
BUT! Cody is adorable! I bet the little one just loves him to pieces!
well aint he just a cutie!! I'm pining for a Shih-tzu. We had a cream & tan Shih-tzu puppy at our pre-school on pet day and I fell truly & madly...deeply even.
ReplyDeleteI hope you all have many many happy years together. If you decide you want a Chihuahua, my offer of a trade still stands for my 8 lb non stinky ball o' grump. *wink*
Omigosh, he's so cute! Are you going to use him as a dust mop?
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww, Cody is so cute! Love that pic of the three of them running!
ReplyDeleteThat is one very cute animal
ReplyDeleteA.D.O.R.A.B.L.E
ReplyDeleteWasn't there a Cody in the Fox and the Hound?
I don't think I could resist that either. Freakin' adorable!
ReplyDeleteA girl at work and her daughter have four of those precious little fur babies :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww.....how cute!! I can't even take it!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!! Almost makes me want to get a dog. almost.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture just explains it all. That girl needed that puppy. They're just PERFECT together! Great shot!
ReplyDeletehow cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the last picture. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! At least with the black, he won't get totally lost in the snow this winter. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a dog person, but THAT is my kind of dog. He's so cute. I love the black and white color, too.
