I LOVE IT! What a wonderful tradition. And the fingernails . . . I bet I know a little girl who was in hog heaven that day!
(I painted Maren's toenails while she was napping the other day . . . the look on her face when she woke up and realized that her toes were 'pretty like Mommy!' was PRICELESS!)
OMG I LOVE her. Her smile this year says volumes. LOVE love love your tradition. I may have to copy it if we have a little girlie! Thank you for sharing.
Wait, I'm confused... Was Alexis out of town that day, or something? Because why did you have that grown up girl pose in the picture instead of little Alexis?
Was she her stand-in? Like in those Hollywood movies? Maybe her butt double?
Oh. My. God. Breathtaking! Just...wow! I am head over heels for that mischievous I'm smarter AND cuter AND cleverer than you, buster, and you know it! look. :)
She is simply DARLING!!!!
