If Only It Were So Simple

I am itching to mix things up with my template, so instead of doing a "real" post tonight, I'm going to mess around with it. With any luck, that may mean y'all will stop catching me in the act. I know for a fact more than a couple of you have seen a new header flash then disappear, because more than a couple of you have told me to knock it off. Will do, just as soon as I get everything all fresh and purdy.

In the meantime, I'll leave you with the very wise words of a certain two-year old. This morning when I was getting her dressed for school, I asked if she was ready to go yet. Her reply?

"No, stay home. Let's cuddle."

Further proof that kids are far wiser than adults.

  1. Oh- there are no words more precious then that! I would be quiting my job and staying home if I heard those words.

Good luck with the new blog look- can't wait to see it.

  5. My boys think its the most amazing thing when I've suggested a "time-off" day.... where one of them and I take a day and call in to work and school and just lounge around the house hanging out together.

    I love those days!

  7. I'm not done tweaking, but tell me the truth, y'all. Too bright? Does the perkiness make you want to gag?

  9. Oh goodness, how do you say no to such a sweet face and request!

I really like it and I'm a little jealous. All you people are coming up with your own templates. I'd love to have one, but I don't know ANYTHING about htmls. I need to take a class or something. Or I'll need to pay someone to do it. I'd rather do it myself.

Oh yeah, Love it, love it, love it. Not too bright at all.

  11. Awww. How can you resist such a sweet sentiment? But are you sure she didn't mean "Let's stay home so I can climb on you like a jungle gym?" That's what I forsee in my future...

I love the new template. Great font in the blocks, especially.

  13. It takes me a while to adjust when people change their layouts, I'm not sure why. But, that picture of Alexis couldn't be a better one!

  18. I agree with Pam, I'd be quitting my job if I heard those words. Don't know if this is your final blog look, but I like it. I liked your other one too but I know how it is to want to change....you've seen me change mine a couple times too I'm sure. And the perkiness...hmmm... a little annoying but you know that's cuz I'm sick. :-) Nah, looks good!

  20. Staying home a cuddling sounds perfect.

Honest? I love the lettering at the top. The purple looks nice on the sides, but the green behind the letters is distracting. Try a darker yellow or darker blue. Just my two cents.
