I could write about my latest foray into Loony Loon OCD Land, where I am the Queen of all things Obsessive AND Compulsive. I could casually mention that I WIN I WIN I WIN SHE STAYED IN HER BED TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW I WIN I WIN I WIN. Or, I could talk about how the Girl Scouts of America should rename themselves the Pansy Scouts of America. However, it's Friday night. On Friday nights, in case you haven't noticed, I suck. I poof into a lazy blogger who can hardly muster an entire paragraph, let alone write about anything even remotely interesting. So, in keeping with the status quo, I bring you a painfully boring video of my dear child singing a little KC and the Sunshine Band. Enjoy.

CUTE! I was watching that and Bean came over and said, "OH Shake your booty!" like he knew the whole world. LOL
ReplyDeleteyeah girl!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until she's old enough to go out partying with...I'd totally take her out clubbing to the Disco bars! :D
oh, and you don't put fluff on Fridays...you put educational workshops out on Fridays (or else you're writing them during the week and punchin' that publish button on Friday...huh?...did I guess your trick?). Anywhoo, while I may not understand or fully appreciate your Blogger PSAs, it seems plenty of your readers do since they're Blogger bloggers.
(that was my very lame attempt at an awkward pat-on-the-back, you know, me being all WASPy and such)
I wouldn't say it was PAINFULLY boring. Okay, I'm in a nasty mood. I really did find it cute. Ignore the saucy redhead.
ReplyDeletenow the song is stuck in my head :] Alexis is super cute though, she knows her stuff!
ReplyDeleteoh and by the way, you were tagged :] read my blog to find out!
oh this is not painfully boring. she's adorable. i love little kids singing songs that are ... ahem ... inappropriate for their age!
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome! Congrats on winning the battle! Very cute video!
ReplyDeleteThe question is, did YOU get 2 nights of sleep, or did you just keep waking up anticipating a battle?
ReplyDeleteHooray for you sleep! She's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll bite. You're gonna have to explain the pansy scout thing.
ReplyDeleteHating you on the sleep. Miss Eleanor was up at 2am AND at 4am, demanding the boob both times.
Is she singing JUST to me? Cuz I just got through shakin my booty!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Hallie
Hah! That's funny.
ReplyDeleteSunday is my lazy blogging day. I've been opting for bring something up from the archives--reposting. That's like boring TV first season reruns. Can't beat that for bad! :P
That's my favorite part of the song too! Alexis rules!!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo for sleep! That clip was hilarious :) She's got the moves down!
ReplyDeleteDora scores big-time, does she? Glad something worked!
ReplyDeleteAnd that clip? A-dor-able. I was done with it before I realized what shirt she was rockin'.
I love it! She is so cute singing that song and shaking that faux tamberine!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah for sleep!
Hanna Montana - watch out; you've got competition coming up. ;o) She is such a cutiepie!
ReplyDeleteSo cute AND she lets you sleep! You hit the jackpot!
ReplyDeleteThe moment I saw this I thought Eat n Park! But then I saw the Sam Adams coaster.
I saw your comment at Cass and had to come over to see if you were from THE 'burgh because hubby and I were at that very moment listing the things we miss from the 'burgh. (We moved south last summer from PA.) Your little one is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 2 nights in a row...I'm wondering if we can keep ours in her crib until she is 8 because I don't look forward to that battle.
I watched this while Ethan was in the living room and he stopped in his tracks...I think he's got a crush! We've been working on "La la la la, la la la la, Elmo's World"...It's pretty funny...especially since my hubby sings it too to try and get Ethan to do it. Love the videos of Alexis!!
ReplyDeleteI think she's got what it takes to become the next YouTube craze :-) Have you've been grooming her for stardom? Seriously, though, super cute...we've often shook our bootys to this exact tune at home.
ReplyDeleteI see she's got a new ladybug shirt! Wonder where she scored that one? Love the KC. And, you have no midwestish accent? I was so expecting some nasal. You sound hawt. Almost makes me reconsider your punishment.
ReplyDeleteNo accent? That is the ultimate compliment. It took me YEARS to lose that ridiculous NoDak drawl. Mr. Husband still claims it comes out when I'm mad.
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought about you yesterday morning when I got attacked by Girls Scouts on my way out of the grocery store. I so would have bought you a few boxes had I known your favorites. I bought Samoas and Thin Mints and yes, they are both gone. BOOOO!
