Just Tube It

The Problem: Your Mother is far too cheap and cruel to buy you pudding in a tube. This is a heartbreaking disappointment as EVERYTHING tastes better in a tube.

The Solution
: Dig in the trash and find a four-day old empty fruit snack package. Then carefully spoon the contents of a pudding cup into the package. Voila! Pudding in a tube! As an added bonus, the cheap and cruel Mother will get to spend twenty minutes cleaning up after your moment of creative genius. Just don't get the idea that you were being all sneaky with this endeavor. The cheap and cruel Mother most likely knew everything that was going on, but was curious to see how far you planned to take this little project. The cheap and cruel Mother thinks that was a heck of a lot of effort just to get to eat pudding out of a tube. But cute.

  3. Next time dump the pudding in a plastic bag, squish it into the corner, snip off the end of the bag and pipe it into the used tube, and then stand back!

I've never done it though...I swear!

  4. She is so darn creative and she's just a toddler. You're in such big trouble, either that or her creativity and ingenuity is going to make you rich one day!!
I love the top pic of her, it's brilliant.

    Thanks for the laugh ;-p

  5. Man, that is creative! I love a girl who knows how to get what she wants. If you want things done right, you do them yourself. She's going places...Hopefully not with pudding all over her face, but she's going.

  13. Now the important question: did she SHARE said faux tube-o-puddin'? Or were you forced to lick some off of her cute cheeks?

  14. I don't like those photos of her. She's looking way too grown up. Of course maybe it's just that super intelligence showing through. You're in for a ride during the teen years.

  16. Pudding in a tube--I've never even heard of it so she's a few IQ points higher than me ;)

  18. I think I've said this before, but you are in trouble. What kind of kid thinks this stuff up? Too smart for their own good ones, that who.

  19. Yep, that toddler of yours is smart - sneaky, cute smart (the worst kind of smart)!

  20. Smart, sneaky and very determined. She will do something big someday, I tell you, but hopefully it will be on the right side of the law :). I wouldn't waste $ on tubes either, which also happen to be great squirting apparatus, and purple polka dots all over the room aren't my idea of decorating, and that wet stuff does funny stuff when mixed with electrical sockets, let me tell U! Just keep being mean!

  21. HO-LY CRAP she is smart!! Brilliant. And stinkin' cute.

  22. You are SO in trouble. Not only brilliant, but also "street smart" in the toddler world. What's really incredible is, she does this stuff on purpose; it's not like it all accidentally works out. She makes it happen. At this young age. And then smiles sweetly and happily.

Oh, you are SO in trouble :)...

  23. I totally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard!

  24. OMG! That is hilarious! But my question is, are you planning on doing this every time she has pudding? You know, if you do it once, be prepared to do it again. and again. and again.....

That is too cute! And very inventive!

We had one of these days with fudge pops.

I actually had to dip the boy in the pool BEFORE taking him to the bath cause he was just THAT bad!

Apparently, I'm not a cruel and cheap mother, just a very ignorant one, because pudding in a tube? Really? They have that?

    Huh.

I have deleted your page from my history, to avoid Little Man seeing these pictures and getting ideas.

I like my toddlers to be completely idea free, yes ma'am.

What a talented little thing you have there. Gifted or wot? Enjoyed looking at your blog. I have a good friend who lives in South Park just south of Pittsburgh -- we visited there a couple of years back and had a great time. I loved walking in downtown -- made me feel like I was back in an English city.
