  1. Was that a big doggie kiss at the bottom for a sliding job well done?

I think it's sweet that your mop slid down first to get the slide nice and clean for Meg.

Also, would Meg only slide down with her safety harness (a.k.a. leash), because that picture will totally ruin her street cred.

But most importantly, the toddler was willing to share her slide? I'm guessing she must have been taking body shots out off of Handy Manny's belly button at your local watering hole during these pictures, because or else surely there would be a picture of a silent "MINE!" scream at the end.

That's awesome! My kids enjoyed seeing your dogs slide down the "wee" (that's code for slide here).

  5. They voluntarily do that? And Alexis shared with them? I thought for sure she'd be in the shot somewhere either putting put protest or "helping" them down the slide.

Ooo! Oooh! Next time? She can ride the bulldog down. How fun would THAT be?! Maybe I only think of these things because it's the way my boys think.

  6. AWWWWWWW!!!!

You know I've loves me some bullies! Did you see my post for Bodhi's birthday this week? He kept the hat on for exactly ONE picture. :-)

Thanks for sharing this cute story in pics with us.

    Peace - D

  7. Our dog can get up there, which we found out when I had the girls eat their snack up there thinking they would be safe from the dog, but she can't get down on her own. I have to help her down the slide.

  8. Haha that is too funny! My mom's dog would never be able to do that...he's scared of everything. If there is the slightest movement to his right, he'll scuffle left and cock his head towards the noise.

  9. They both do it on their own. I taught Jasmine when she was a puppy and Meg couldn't stand that The Mop could do something that she couldn't, so she taught herself. Now you can't keep Meg off the slide, not even long enough to get her leash off.

I think Sasha would be a big wussy and would HATE going down those slides! Also, she very well might just be too big, lol.

Meg on the slide? Totally cracking me up. Our Bully would've stared at the ladder and slide and been all "Dude? Seriously? You woke me from my nap for THIS?!"

    :)

  22. Meg? Is hawt. I just want to rub her belly and smell her (I can imagine rank) dog breath.

  23. that's pretty hilarious! I doubt we could get our dogs up the slide themselves (access is a ladder-ish as opposed to steps...I hate it myself), but uh, they're little enough that I could probably wrestle them up. But my dumb luck Ginger wouldn't go down the slide and would instead jump the 5 feet down the side and bust her intact hip. Or get some other butt ailment. Maggie would probably only go down if coaxed with her ball.

Can I tell you how much the bulldog pictures made my day? They rocked! If only I didn't like drool. I would so be all over a bulldog. I guess I have to get my fix from my dad's bulldogs!

  25. I seriously thought that your bulldog, in the second picture, was wearing a brown suede doggie jacket. Freaked me out for a minute.

  27. Okay seriously even though we have different breeds my golden (the three legger) can JUMP on the platform for the slide and go down.
    Funniest thing EVER!
I thought only I had a freak for a dog.

    Too cute.

Many of times I would look out the window to find our Jack Russell at the top of the slide....he was crazy!

Nice to see yours are too!
