In No Way Proving My Point

Fine.

She does sing better than me.

Whatever.

At least I know how to say 'love' correctly. "Peepo who nuv me." Heh.

(If you are using a Reader, there is a video here.)

(I could be nice and tell you what she's singing, but that seems like it would require a little bit of effort. Anybody who has listened to Signing Time 'In a House' and 'Feelings' 18,000 times will know both songs right away.)

  1. she is way too cute for her own good.

couldn't understand a WORD she said (son and daughter?????), but she's cute as all get-out.

  2. She is so adorable! I caught a word or two here and there....I can't believe she knows all those words to two songs! She might have a better memory than me!

  8. Okay, other than the "peepo who nuv me" I didn't get many of the words, either. But I did not care once she started in with the hand gestures, sound effects, and a little belly-laugh thrown in every now and then for good measure. And I also found it remarkable that your toddler has a longer attention span than me. This kid is a HOOT :)!!!

  9. She is ADORABLE! I love when you post little video clips.

Her toy look like my family room... and my girl are 9 and 11... different toys.. but just as many! lol

  10. The is one groovy rockin' chick! I only caught a few words, but they were crystal clear-son, daughter, in a house, in a home--and feelings. I got people who love me cuz you gave a heads up.
She is so on her way to fame. What a gorgeous voice!
Love her laugh and hand gestures at the end too!
Is that your family room? Or a play room? LOVE the toys!

  11. Yeah, she does sing pretty well. I'm very impressed. And again overcome by her adorableness.

My favorite is near the end when she goes "wheeee. hehehe." Too cute!

  12. She's got skillz! My son watched this and loved it!

  13. Where are those feelings? And, I love Burgh Daddy watching the tourney in the background. I think I would have a hard time watching Knight & Digger if I had a lovely Liza Minelli singing about sons & daughters to me. No wonder this took so long to upload last night.

  15. I'll have you know that Girl-Child watched this with me, asked me what Alexis's name is, three times, and doesn't understand why she can't come over to play with her. Because? She really wants too.

Then we had to watch it again. Alexis has an internet buddy.

  16. I think we should start a Toddler Idol.

    My kid sings "issybissyPIDA! UPAWATERpout!"

Alexis is so damn cute, though.

She's adorable. I remember when my kids sang all the time. Now they're plugged into their iPods all the time. Enjoy it!

  20. I see *lots* of signs of Dora here. And I thought you were a hater. :)

She's amazing! Love it! (Alexis, not Dora.)

  22. I understood every word. Especially the chorus. :)

    I'm fluent in baby sing . . . NOT.

HOWEVER, she is so cute I could listen to this over and over. So entertaining!

  23. Oh she is a adorable. And from her singing you can tell she is a Signing Time Fan!!! Does she know the signs too? If she was signing it could help those who don't know toddler-ese to understand her. She is too cute.

  25. That is 32 flavors of cuteness. Watch out Hannah Montannah or whatever that girl's name is. Alexis' got her groove ON.

  26. Love it, so sweet. And yes, she sings wonderfully. But you should have included a clip of your own singing so maybe we could really determine who is the better singer.

  27. Can we get a duet next time?

She's so cute! I love hearing her sweet voice :) Even if I have no idea what she's saying. Sometimes, I prefer it that way ;)

I was just listening to my Sissy's old recordings today, getting them ready for a playlist and I wanted to go back and squeeze her, but it's *sniff* too late.

  32. Okay so are you warnoing me to never buy signing time? Bean is famous for all of the Blue's clues songs and Barney's theme. Ugh.
She is soooooo cute though. what was she doing while singing?

  33. I love that Baby Idol idea! I also love that fact that there appears to be more kids stuff than grownup in your family room! Watch it, or pretty soon she'll be moving the TV into the tent and telling you to go to "your" room to watch it. ;o)

Oh yes I have heard those songs 4 billion times. Sadly I get them stuck in MY head all the freakin time. I love Rachel and Signing Time but I don't enjoy waking up in the middle of the night singing A is for Alex and Alligator in my head.
