oops! I thought that soggy pic from the last post was her in her jammies after a bath! Guess I fogot that we're the only parents that punish our children by forcing their tight jammies on their undried bodies after a bath.
and I was all "Near!.....FAR!!!!....Near!.....FAR!" while scrolling through the pics.
Don't you just love the water table? I mean...don't you just love how your kid loves the water table? (Our's is still filled with oatmeal. Not warm enough for water fun :( ).
So..uh...what time should Morgan and I be there to play?
Um - you know you're guilty of doing the picture-only post in lieu of doing a "real" post, now, too, right? Indeed, you've ripped me a new one for using this same tactic.
Though I must confess - I approve wholeheartedly of these photos.
There is something special about a toddler and water isn't there? She's precious! AFF told me how great your blog was, and I must say I agree! She didn't however, tell me how adorable your little cutie pie was! Precious!
You captured the joy and surprise so well. We made do with the hose this weekend. I'm hoping for warm weather this weeked to give us an excuse to get out our turtle pool. Or I'll take a weekend when I don't get sick ...
Since I've met her once, the next time I see her I will squeeze her, but not in a bad-squeeze kind of way like my uncle squeezed Mikey that one time. That just wasn't right, but .... he ain't right, so....
OMG, I NEED one of those splash tables (umm...for myself!) They look like SO. MUCH. FUN!!
ReplyDeleteDid Step 2 puke on your lawn or what? Or did the Burgh just get invaded by plastic?
ReplyDeleteAnd, damn skippy! that girl is just getting even cuter, if that's possible. Where's the Dora tat?
Your child has the most wonderfully expressive face!
ReplyDeleteAnd frightfully strong spirit.
She's a keeper.

She's a little water lover, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteThat child seems unhappy, miserable and in need of dry clothes.
ReplyDeletePlease ship her to North Texas ASAP, where she will be provided with love and taught the true meaning of hockey love (Go Leafs and Sens!)
quite possibly the best story I've read in a long while! Such dramatic pause. Such a climactic ending...

ReplyDeleteThat girl knows how to party! Where did she learn that?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I guess that needed to be said twice. Duh.
ReplyDeleteThe drops of water float through the air the way her smile soars on the screen. Thanks for the story.
ReplyDeleteOMG! You can totally tell she was trying to get you and then fumbled!

Those are the best pictures EVER. I have one of my Little Guy about that age, buck naked, covered in mud. It's the best. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! Pascal is afraid of his unfortunately. He thinks it's some sort of torture device designed to make him play alone. :)
